Last night I was watching some of my old choir concert movies...sigh... Seeing all my friends, the old auditorium, my director...My senior year was probably the best year of my life. It was a definate turning point for me, the start of a new era. I finally was able to have some self-esteem, I enjoyed my friends and being sociable, I liked interacting with people and the world. I was in love for the first time, I made people laugh, they WANTED to be around me. I'd get to school like an hour early to get a parking spot and lay in my car and sleep until the bell rang. So many good things. God that science class was great, with all the fives I sat with.... And choir, of course, the same teacher for four years, same people, same experiences. Going half way across the country to New York by bus to sing the National Anthem at a Mets Game...*sigh*... I'd love to see my big high school crush again. If I had three wishes, right now, experiencing my senior year of high school again would be one of them. -Emily
