: : regardless of wing,say in a pure four,how do they use their thinking center? : : here's my take on it.the only other triad that fours fall in to,to account for it,is the reactive group.just as 2s and 4s are opposites in the feeling triad,4s and 8s are opposites in the reactive triad.8s want others to be true to them,4s want to be true to themselves.8s are mostly critical of others,4s are mostly critical of themselves.8s fear needing support,4s fear being without support. : : some of the defining features of the thinking center are security,strategy,apprehensivness(fear),belief,and criticism(superego). : : i believe the need for honesty in 8 and 4 come from security in beleif,belief in yourself and others. : : criticism is strait forward superego : : fear or apprehension is also strait forward : : the support needs are derived from the social aspect of security like dependance,interdependance,and independance meaning strategies for securing group recources : : (all the thinking types have problems with securing resources,7s devour resources,5s hoard them,and 6s do both with an interdependant people orientation) : : for 4s that means emotional resources and dependance and for 8s since they're prone to be antisocial that transelates to strategies for securing group resources for themselves and independance. : : so to some up my thoughts i believe 4s primarily direct the power of their thinking center inward and 8s direct it out. : : any thoughts? : :
