It seems that you confuse *being open minded* with *lacking judgement*. I'm pretty open minded about most things but there are avenues down which I don't care to trod. Would you care to watch a "snuff" film so that you could try to *understand* what the producer was doing and why?

American society has been in decline for several decades now in large part due to the brand of "open mindedness" you suggest to be appropriate. We've even gone so fas as to elect a morally bankrupt man as President not once but twice. There is an extreme price to pay for subscribing to the notion that all points of view are equally worthy. Our legal system, a case in point, was instituted as a means for society to define acceptable vs. unacceptable behavior. Are you saying that as a society we are "closed minded" because we've done so?
