Obviously I have no problem with humor at all, and tend to use it a lot, but it's getting out of hand, to the point where a whole thread will be nothing but ridicule and stupid jokes, in reply to a wonderful post. : I see generalizations all over. I see things like, "This type always takes itself too seriously. This type complains too much." What the hell happened to insight and intuition? It seems that people are merely repeating what they read in some enneagram book, or making up things about a type without even THINKING about what they're saying. : I don't know. This board used to have substance. It was amazing the theories and ideas people used to share here, but damn, lately.... : Don't get me wrong, though, there are some people, and some posts, that really get me thinking. There are SOME people left here who are insightful, and who are not heartless, and all that good stuff. Maybe it's a combination of a few things that has me annoyed at this site. For one thing, I've been posting here for a couple years now, which isn't anything compared to some of the other oldtimers. But, because of this, everything seems so repetitive. "Oh, another post about fourish introversion. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz." Another thing, is that a lot of the people here are new to the enneagram, and the things they say are just so stupid. While I used to want to help them learn, I'm getting tired of it now. And, lastly, I'm one of the people that cleans up this garbage. I read EVERY SINGLE POST, on EVERY SINGLE BOARD. I moderate now the Fourboard, Mainboard, Careboard, Chatboard, and Fiveboard. The stuff that I erase makes me so sad sometimes, thinking about the person that actually decided it was substantial enough to press the "post message" button. : More messages are being posted than ever these days, but most don't matter. Remember when there'd be like 3 new messages each day, but each one was so incredibly thought-out or heartfelt? : Anyway, I'm done complaining. I feel like a 70 year old woman complaining about "Kids These Days". : -Emily
