Reading dean's post, I see what he's saying, but I don't agree entirely... I don't think fours are in search of freedom as a main goal ("freedom for freedom's sake"), nor do they have such a "to hell with the world" attitude... I believe we are searching for our place IN this world... We want to feel free to be ourselves and authentic and be accepted in this world. And that means not to conform to other people's ideas/ideals. I don't see that as selfish at all. I see it as a natural and true path to self-discovery.
