Hi Tiggy: I don't want to discount any possibility of a biological issue which may put you into rage. My ex changed early in my marriage, and rage was not uncommon. Was very freightening because of it's unpredictabily, and in the face of my four put me into withdrawal. After testing it was discovered that her thyroid was the issue, and began receiving medication for the condition - unfortunately for us, whatever trust existed before, was lost and neither had the desire to work on it. The human body ebs and flows chemical changes, and especially the female, pre ovulation is different than post ovulation. What takes place in the female is a miracle, it is living lifes cycle every month. Every month, a beginning and an ending. (I raised three girls) I feel comfortable speaking to this, and hope I don't make you uncomfortable. Your question of rage directed at society. It is your spirit using Society to mirror your turmoil. Much unexpressed anger, deep seated perhaps. I hope you have the resource to obtain conseling who will help facilitate your intropection process. I have been seeing a Jungian psychologist for about two years - I call him my lifes coach, and really helps me sort out things. Takes time, nurturing takes time...
Bless you Tiggy...you are such a warm, living human being, so connected to life with soul and spirit. Perhaps Sr Kathleen can help you speak to your wounded child, something, done everyday, will lead to 'shifts', healing I believe rage is the culmination of those unexpressed emotions held so deep within. Your priestess, in her kindness, her love for you causes you to 'Shout in the Mirror' and reflected back or your worst fears held inside. You are in a terrific field of study, how far along are you in it? I have recently found a church which I can 'be' in - Unity: New thought religion. With compassion Sam
