There are many types resistant to gaining self-knowledge. As well, many people learn & grow in different ways throughout their lives. The enneagram just isn't a good 'fit' for everyone. Just as some other method of gaining self-knowledge may not work for my type. : I have also found that some show a bit of interest but are not quite ready for it. If they hear me referring to it once in a while, I feel I've put a little bee in their bonnet - & they may eventually look into it at some point. : Cheers!
