I have also felt this way in the past, on occasion. I look back & realize those thoughts came from those who were suffering from depression, even some self-hatred - and so to cling to some kind of hope & meaning, it was easier to see everyone else as 'common', 'inferior' and 'boring' - how could others possibly understand the depth & specialness of my thoughts about life! I see things that others don't, as their lives are too mundane.... Of course all these people's lives are not mundane. It's all a matter of perspective. And I bet your perspective will change so many times throughout your life... Peace
