Ditto for me. It's all very romantic, in a depressing kind of way--I'm almost crying thinking about it. I normally don't go out and do those things because I'm so tired of being and feeling alone, but the feelings and everything are all very familiar.

My only interpretation is that we must gain something from these feelings of longing and melancholy. We're almost certainly doing it to avoid something we perceive as being worse or more painful. I'm sure it is a bad thing, but have no advice for how to counteract it. But I've been depressed recently, so now is probably not the best time to ask me.
