Sure! But my reply requires qualification.... In any case, your audacious post will no doubt draw some dissent. Here's a list of defenses for your view, keeping in mind that some ambiguity seems to exist in the scope of your conclusions: 1) If you spend a long time alone in a crowd, you can easily start to feel this way. Vulgarity is inseparable from large groups, in my opinion. If vulgarity is X and large groups (though not necessarily small groups) are Y, then I can safely say that X is always found in Y, and Y in X. People's appreciable qualities arise in more individual settings. 2) Assuming you feel this way all the time, I'll suggest that you spend too much time alone in a crowd, and don't give individuals, in individual settings, much of a chance. 3) However, I'm sure you *don't* feel this way all the time. It's probably just a temporarily depressive symptom caused by your spending too much time at Disneyland. In this case, consider the possibility that you don't necessarily feel this way about humanity, but rather about large groups, and the large group mentality. Also realize that you can't possibly devote appreciable attention to each individual in a crowd, so it's much easier for your human mind to see them as a unit. What do you think? Derf, 4w3 iNFj
