I wish I could understand why you wrote that. I have a daughter who self harms and seems intent on self destruction. Is it because you cannot adequately express your frustrations in another way. Why should you hate yourself? Are you (if the poem is about you) comparing yourself unfavourably to others or do you have unrealistic expectations of yourself? At the end of the day, you are important just being who you are. Is this not enough?
