Good to know I'm not the only one who respects the integrity of the phrase "Mars & Venus bullshit."

I suppose the myth has to come from somewhere. Here are a few ideas (in roughly descending order of credibility):

1) Cultural dogma that gives indolent minds a false sense of security and understanding, and helps them sleep better at night.

2) Applicable mainly to Sixes and Nines.

3) Applicable mainly to the population section between sigma -1 and sigma 1.
