Is there a story in there somewhere? Was Ayn a Nom de Plume, an alter ego, rejection of self, Schizoid process, etc.. Any thoughts about the person
herself. Sounds rather individualistic. Personally, I have found no affinity/identification with her work accept as very interesting literature and some philosophical approach considerations. Some seem to elevate her status to icon of a movement or point of view. What aspect appeals to devotees? Live free or die? I am not asking for explanations of Rand. I am asking, "Do you identify with the author's point of view or
the author herself, or both? Finally, is this a 5 thing? A detached view of Mrs. O'Connor is interesting, but not inspiring IMO.
