In a man, I look for intellectualness, breadth of interests, openness, ability to be childlike, a good conversationalist, and a pleasant voice. I tend to end up going for hopeless men who are even more neurotic than I am - I suppose it's a love of complexity Well, well, what an interesting subject. Kudos, Tigs! I guess I start where most people, both male & female, start. Initial impression of how they look counts a lot, in the beginning. If they open their mouth and utter inanities then I don't care if they look like Catherine Zeta-Jones I'm not going to be interested for long. Smart, witty, and good looking is the ultimate combination. Soft spoken is a plus but not a necessity. Femininity ranks high as well. I also admire a woman who has a mind of her own. This "I don't know, I'm just a girl." stereotypical behavior game that some women play to make a man feel better about himself leaves me cold. Looks are a highly subjective thing. Sometimes I'm attracted to a woman who has an unconventional look. By this I mean that she wouldn't necessarily be considered very attractive in the traditional sense. Also, after I've come to know a woman for even a brief period looks cease to be that big a factor. It'll be interesting to hear other men's responses.
