Or are you too busy with your questing for that sort of thing? I've often dreamt of a rescuer too. It was always, "once I meet her and have the relationship, everything else will be okay, everything else will fall into place, then my life will be perfect and I can relax." It would be nice to be the hero and be loved and admired for that, but I don't think it's the same thing. I think male and female Cinderella syndromes are pretty much identical. For me, it was always a feeling that she would be able to bring out those wonderful qualities that were in me all along, but no one else had ever taken the time to look for. She would save me from myself, and from the cruel world that imprisoned me. - Hal -
