: Yes, I still think that people have absolute control over their destinies, at least the destinies of their hearts. : No, I don't need to pore endlessly over particular instances and people. I may learn something new tomorrow, and change my mind completely. But in the end, idealism - culturally-accepted or radical - is still just idealism - you can never have all the facts. : No, I don't have a little high horse. I don't have a silver spoon. Not outside the generous wellspring of my mind, at least. I did NOT grow up high-class (several times, in fact, I approached poverty). My immediate family has its share of depressives, not the least illustrious of which was myself. I had "chemical imbalances" too. I'm advocating FIGHTING; I'm advocating the CHOICE of happiness, and the direction of God (whatever that means to you - but, in all cases, I feel, NOT a sugar-paved path), and I'll continue to do so - "tactfully," on message boards, of course. :> I don't really want to bother anyone outright. But here? Sure, why not. Face it, kids - a message board dealing with new-age spiritual propoganda is nothing less than a Devil's Advocate room - I will steadfastly assume that people come here to get ideas, no-holds-barred. This is abstract reasoning - my own little Taoism in a bottle :> ...
