Someone who is assertive, yet vulnerable. She is intelligent, yet innocent. Someone whose smile can make you close your eyes and set you soaring through the sky, and whose tears cause you to settle softly on her shoulder, whispering into her ear that everything will be...okay Matches - I AM that woman! Why are the effects of such a person 'crushing'? Or is that only when it's unrequited love. I've had unrequited love for over thirteen years now; for the same person. I don't think I look to him to rescue me. I want to rescue him, but he's resistant. I just want us to join forces because we'd make a good team. We dovetail well. That Winter pseud. Going on about it's all sex. Rather outdated pseudo-Freudian view. We British just think it would be jolly nice for two young people to have a cup of tea together and read the Sunday papers. That's how I envisage a life with Jonathan; sex is the least interesting part of my fantasies, in fact it hardly figures. They tend to consist of having a cosy house with a real fake fire and all my lovely pictures and ornaments, and having gothic dinner parties and marrying our extensive book collections. And maybe setting up a business giving workshops or staff training on psycho. stuff. The Tigster.
