: : As far as myself goes, I can do what I can to convince myself that "I don't need no arms around me," but it hasn't worked yet. Until then I'll just plug away.

: Can't think why, Matches - I would have thought you were the sort of bloke women would be VERY interested in:-romantic, intelligent, creative, expressive, articulate, serious-minded. It sounds like you're not meeting the right sort of women, if they fail to appreciate you.

---> I never would have thought that I would ever be referred to as a "bloke," but it just happened! Imagine that. One of the problems is that in "real life" I'm not the same person. I'm more the predicatable, stupid, reserved guy who doesn't take anything seriously. If you find that hard to beleive, I don't blame you. I work hard to keep my emotions at bay in the real world....they tend to come out when I'm alone...posting on this board or writing emails to certain friends. That's just the way it is. ...Which is why I've always said that even my closest friends - both male and female - probably don't know me nearly as much as the blokes, for example, who read this message board.

: Yes, I know 13 years is a long time, but he's still growing up - so am I actually - whatever it means. We've had several whole years when we haven't seen each other, but we're like brother and sister or twins.

--->I don't really understand what you mean by this...and I don't know how much you care to say about the subject, either...I don't know what I would say even if I knew more of the story, but I guess I would understanda bit better...for some reason I'm curious...

: My emotional age is about Five, and that's all I'm saying.

--->Quick thinking Tigs...I let it stand at that.

Always,

Matches (emotional age 10)
