Your thinking that that would console me is extremely insulting.
In order for you to think that it would console me, you had to think that the reason I was angry with your post was that the ideas disagreed from mine, and that the reason was NOT simply that your post was condescending. In other words, you thought that everything I was saying was bullsh*t, and that it was just an excuse to suppress your views because I believed differently.
Even if the religion you posted happened to agree with me on every point, your post would be no less offensive and obnoxious.
And incidentally: No, I'm not a Christian.
