Sharlee, thanks for your honesty. i'm 20 now, so this means we knew one another at 5 or 6 years of age. by the sounds of things, you could be spot on. for me, the feeling was of excitement mixed with a strange feeling of confusion when contacting her, perhaps my email sounded a little intense but for the most part it was light-hearted.
there's a little more information in my post below regarding the details of the situation, so it might do well to look at that. she did once contact an aquantaince of mine 5 years ago who asked me if i remembered her. i must admit at that time i felt a little awkward and never followed anything through.
for now, this aquaintance of mine may be the only mutual friend (although we were never really good friends) to act as a go between. it's difficult because i never spend time with her so i'm unsure how to arrange such a meeting... you do have me thinking though :)
anyway, if you want i could send you a copy of the email. my email is linked to my name so if you want to contact me it would be greatly appreciated. one thing i noticed about her short email was that her writing style was very similar to yours, perhaps she's a One also... :)
