She may have not written yet to give herself time to think how to reply, but some people are thrown by figures reappearing from the past. Some people don't like looking back at all or can't be bothered to have to deal with people and emotions that aren't part of their present day and everyday concerns. She may thnk you have some romantic dream of her up your sleeve with which she doesn't want to have to deal. It all depends on the person as to how they react to you 'acting yourself' - so I shouldn't worry about it, because you can't please everyone and if she reacts negatively that shows she doesn't share your Fourish values.
