That reminds me, for some reason, of when whilst teaching Religious Studies in a school, I had to teach about a couple of organisations that were actually set up by friends of mine, in fact one of them was based at where I used to live. I didn't know what to say because I couldn't tell the truth about these groups and their origins. I was too close to events and people connected with it. The kids would probably have found it more interesting, but it wouldn't have been presenting this nice neat picture of religions that schools try to present.
