I've always wondered the whole theoretical mechanics of the enneagram, why the points connect to whichever ones they point to...I have a better understanding now... And even though I'm interested, I'm still far too lazy and embarassed to actually get a book and read more about it myself. But I think personally, the connection to point 1 is very evident, especially the unhealthy connections: "Dissatisfied perfectionism" colours my entire life it seems... "Get creatively blocked because nothing they produce is up to their own high standards. Induce shame in themselves with inner criticism." Again, I tend to dismiss things I do as "May tear down others out of jealousy." I've never gone out of my way to tear others down as a result of jealousy, but I've often wished I could. "Sometimes latch onto a grandiose, obsessive Big Idea." My entire reason for being, I feel at times, is to make one of these gradiose, obsessive Big Ideas become reality. Of course, since I'm so afraid that it won't live up to my expectations, they never become reality...a shame. So there you have it. Tigs, you might be interested to know that my friend and I have decided to try and write another movie...his girlfriend is very interested in it, and wants us to start out making it an on stage play...Though we know nothing about playwriting, I figure why not give it a run? :-)
