I for one am very intense IRL. --I am very "intense" too, at times. Maybe we mean different things with that. I don't like any "nonsense" stuff. (I actually know people who call it "bullshit", directly. I tend to get along well with people like that) Such as people behaving like someone has died or they themselves are dying, if they aren't. In fact, if we get back to this visiting business, a colleague of mine died during my visit, and I got the info after the visit to science museum, while someone else was being homesick. But enough of that. I simply cannot have much sympathy for people who get into histrionic and hyperdramatic fits about things that don't directly influence someone's health or life. It's totally alien to my personality. I can't see any reason for them or any apporpirateness for them. Note that I'm only talking about outwardly obvious behaviour. In my understanding, if something is going badly wrong, the natural response would be to see to that it's taken care of right and that there will be no consequences. The "intense reactions" described here seem to be about losing control and expecting someone else to take care of everything, which probably isn't going to happen. Why anyone would want to go there is beyond me. Mikko
