Yes, there was one grammatical error, an extra "be" there. An unfortunate typing error which I have been doing too many lately. I am sorry it prevented you from understanding my comment, as did my the poor structure if my message in general. Here is what you asked for:

We--or rather I--found out your opinion, johnmerrick. It is that others' comments seem to be arrogrant and presumptous to you. What kind of comments would not be?
Would you say anything you say here is not presumptous and does not come across as "guru-like"? I am asking this because if your comments in deed are not, you know what expressions and terms are allowed and which are not. Please share your information with me. Knowing what is stylistically correct, I can avoid being presumptuous and arrogant when I do not wish to be.

In addition, I would like to know how to retool my sentences. I would have revised them, but I was not sure if it was the correct course of action. Should I go to a hardware store near me for instructions and advise?
