I tend to fall in love with introverts a lot though, so I usually don't go that route. Before I was more aware of how the other person felt, I was always hurt that my significant other did not advertise me to the world. I thought she was ashamed of me or something ... (then we suddenly start drifting into different issues...)
This is a good point. As an introvert I don't express myself well unless it is in private. I mean I have an intense love(one that kind of scared the hubby - he's such an ISFJ) for my husband but it is like I want to protect it.....because it is so special to me. I did not want it to be criticized or commented on.....not that people would do that but I have friends who criticize everything else...so I just kept it out of view in ultimate safety. Even though he is also an introvert he is more outgoing than me and expresses himself through actions. He was not up for personal vows though either, however he went out of his way to make the honeymoon special.
Your ideal to make something special and important is to announce it. Show it to the world because it is special to you. That's good information....... I understand it better now.
This is interesting......what different types do with their feelings on love.
