I don't think that the mushy stuff that couples say to each other is meant to be paraded in front of everyone at a wedding. I cant see anything wrong with promising to 'love, honour and cherish'. Surely that's quite enough to promise without adding stuff on and detracting is a cop out. Also there is no need in public venue to add superfluities like, 'I want to always be with you, Bunnykins'. Wedding vows aren't about mushy feelings, they are about commitments.
