: : : : Conquering your fears, specifically avoidance behaviour, fear of other people, is one of the most difficult things for fours to overcome. I am about to join a health club for a two month membership, (I have not worked out in two months because of the moving stress, so now all my lines are gone, so I have to start all over again, will need another two months or so to get them back again) and this one is co-ed and crowded. I don't want to be around all those people, because it just makes me feel self-conscious, but the reason why I want to join it is because the machines and equipment they have, I want to use. I am nervous and scared to go here, but I keep thinking I need to use these machines. I also don't like being the only female in the free weight room, but, again, I need to use it and the bars, so I don't have a choice. I will just have to try to focus on my routine, and not pay attention to others. I large part of me is so nervous, I don't even want to do this. I have been delaying joining for weeks because of it. I need to not think about it and just go.
