: I think that having a 3 wing makes it harder to be impersonal about things...because the feelings are always present. 4w5 seems more detached, each individual living in his/her own personal world. 4w3 (I'm one, in case you don't know) is more aware of being a part of the world, sort of.
: 4w5 is more unique, individualistic and rather promotes these qualities at the sake of being successful in others' terms. 4w3 is more competitive and (as Riso has put it) is more aware of the audience, rather than aiming at maxium uniqueness. This has to be understood broadly, not just in the context of creative professions.
: Thinking in characteristical stereotypes, I find that a stereotypical stage actor/director is a 4w3 and the artist, painter, etc is a 4w5. At any rate, 4w3 is much more self-contradictory, having traits that are more conflicting with each other--just combining four and three traits shows this.

I would have thought the opposite about some of this. 3's tend to be out of touch with their feelings, so I would expect 4w3 to lean in this direction--how is it that their feelings are always present as compared to a 4w5? I'm a 4w5, and I find it very difficult to be detached--my feelings are always present and in my awareness, and I am very affected by external things that happen to me. Whether or not you call this my own personal world is another question.
I agree that 4w3 would be more of the performer, and more success-oriented. But 4w5 doesn't necessarily aim for maximum uniqueness; for me it's more like maximum self-honesty, i.e. being true to yourself as much as possible. If others see it as being different, so be it, and I try not to be self-righteous about it. I don't go out of my way to be different, but I do go out of my way to be who I feel I am, not who I thing others would like me to be...at least most of the time--like all 4's, I have a 3 side as well, and have fallen into its low side many times.
I'm not sure about 4w3 being more self-contradictory than 4w5. Maybe the contradictions are more obvious, but I think the inner conflict is about equal.
