To be specific, a 5w4 Sexual. My basic drives, fears, etc seem to be more in sync with Fives, but I have noticed there is a strong Four element to them. One of the main differences between Fives and Fours is the emotional factor...I myself am generally detached. Fives don't show emotion in public, and save it for when they are alone to feel emotion...much like me. Still, like I said, I have a prominent Four wing, so I'm not exactly detached from my feelings...the feeling of awe and respect just by simply looking up at the pre-dawn sky can be exhilirating. However, I am more depressed than anxious....but in Wisdom of the Enneagram, it says Fives can get depression (just to a lesser extent usually than anxiety). And while I'm on the subject, is there any very effective over-the-counter treatments for depression? I do not want to go to a doctor at all...I'm scared actually...and I don't want my parents to know my state of mind. Plus, its a complicated process, and its much more simpler to go to a drug store. If anybody has any recommendations, I would be most appreciative. I don't know if I can bear this burden any much longer... : -Cory (5w4 Sexual?) Cory, look out for a new anti-depression remedy that may be more effective than St. Johns Wart. Called SAM-e. I've heard people are really taking to it.--Jay
