Thanks, Aislinn. I have been living with that little annoyance for a long
time. Funny how we live with little annoyances like that until we take
the time to share. I really appreciated your sharing your experiences
about everyday small talk. That has been an issue with me for so long.
I am great with friends where I can talk in more depth, but that everyday
stuff really gets me. I guess I am little shy and if people don't say
hello to me, I just manage a little embarrassed smile (which people
probably don't even realize I'm smiling). so with everyday stuff I
sometimes feel "invisible, but there". I am just not good at everyday
kidding around and big "hi's" that people do. I did try the mantra
"I no longer have to pretend in order to be loved" and then I kind of
NEVER say hello (unless I really know someone) and then I get paranoid
that "they" will think I am unfriendly. Oh, well, the garbage we fill
our minds with. Right?
