I've always said the ingredients to success are 10% hard word, and 90% Providence, which usually disguises itself as the result of hard work.
"There's a place, where I can go, when I feel low, when I feel blue Like I love... only you In my mind there's no sorrow, don't you know that it's so. A very simple song done by the Beatles....but I like it.
Matches : "There is a place in this world for fours, otherwise God would not have created us." : One of my favourite songs. 'Theres a..... PLACE for us, somewhere a PLACE for us! Take my hand and we're HALF way there!' : Are there any Fours who don't believe in God, or some sort of spiritual reality? It seems too useful a concept for us. I tried not believing in God once and I couldn't get my head round it and had to give up. [ADDITIONAL WAFFLE - I don't like the word God though. I find the big G rather aggressive and bossy, and the o in the middle just empty. The d is okay, but rather final. I wonder if my faith would be different if I were French and God was Dieu. That's a much more grace-filled word, but too Catholic, Latin sounding for me. Gott is horrid. Al'lah too alien. Jahweh too primitive, JHWH too cryptic. Adonai is quite nice, but it sounds too much like Adonis and Adenoids. Lord is too obsequeous. Having come to the end of my linguistic repertoire, I'll have to revert to using Aslan. The Muslims say that God has 100 names, but man only knows 99 of them as no one can know everything about God - but the camel knows the 100th name and that's why he looks so smug!] : (By the way, I am interested to know if our recent rail crash in North London was mentioned on American news reports. It was a very bad one.]
