Fours and Eights

I'm interested in exploring the dynamic between types four and eight. I realize there are many similarities, but I always thought these were no more significant than the differences between four and six or four and nine or four and seven. I'm not sure that the similarities are indeed more significant, but one fact perplexes me. While growing up (I'm 24 and a 4/3), I strongly identified with a particular performer whom I believe must be an 8/7, and a a friend of mine who is a 4/5 strongly identified with an 8/9. So...two things...I want to know if my intuition is serving me correctly with this performer...is he really an eight, or is he a counterphobic six, or a combative four? If he is an eight, there is a closer connection between four's and eight's than I thought. Or rather, I can identify with them much more than I thought I could. Secondly...what are your experiences with eights? Do you identify with them?

SO...the performer I speak of is Axl Rose. Is he an eight? Anyone else feel this connection with eights?

I realize this may seem silly, but I just need some feedback from other fours. Hope someone can help.
