I would hazard a guess that the relationship is that Fours turn their anger inward resulting in depression, whereas Eights aggress outwards, resulting in expressed anger/aggression. So a Four might enjoy seeing their unexpressed anger, expressed by an Eight performer. It would be more acceptable for a Four in an art form than simply as raw expressed anger directed towards others. I find some Eights intimidating, and not too keen on self-inspection. But my Eight friends are very loyal and supportive and sensitive to others hurts. They seem to be aware of their aggressive tendency and to be genuinely sorry about any bad effects it causes, the two Eights I'm thinking of are both female practising Christians of the liberal kind. They have lots of energy and are reliable. I have been becoming more Eightish lately and less depressed, ie more angry and less miserable. I have an increase in testosterone, but whether that's causal or just correlates, I don't suppose anybody knows. Tiggy.
