Fours and MBTI type

: As I understand it, there is no one-to-one correspondance between Enneagram type and MBTI type; at best, there is only a loose correlation. It seems to me that most Fours would be INFP's, but I have a close friend -- a Four -- who is and INTP. I found this very puzzling -- how could a Four, clearly a deeply feeling person, be Thinking according to MBTI? It seems like a contradiction in terms to me. Can anyone shed light on this? : Also, I'd like to know if there are other INTP's out there, and how they reconcile their Fourness with their Thinking. : Devora-Leah
