The more I know/understand about myself through the enneagram or MBTI, the more I have available to me in personal growth work. As I mature, I can consciously choose to access the energy of another e-type,and I can also "strengthen" the opposites of my MBTI. I remain what I am, especially in the enneagram. I think the MBTI changes as I individuate, and Jung proposed, I believe, that individuation was the goal, that we would live from the opposites in middle age.
