When I was going through a bad time last March or so, it read: "Goodbye cruel world, I'm leaving you today. Goodbye. Goodbye Goodbye. If Cory's a true Floydian, he'll know what that's about. I got tired of that. It was black writing on a grey (gray?) background. Now its a purple background with yellow letters that say: "Her majesty's a pretty nice girl but she doesn't have a lot to say. Her majesty's a pretty nice girl and she changed from day to day. I want to tell her I love her a lot, but I gotta get a belly full of wine..." If it had more room I would have finished the line off with: "Her majesty's a pretty nice girl, someday I'm gonna make her mine." But as for you question about cliches....I've never seen anyone else with that phrase on their screensaver, though when you think of the amount of phrases you could possibly have, the law of averages says you probably won't find the same one on two different machines... "Wake up and smell the coffee." Around my parts, I've heard "Wake up and smell the roses" more often, and that's kind of cliche. "Smell the coffee" kind of makes more sense, though, doesn't it?
