I don't think so, for example last winter didn't really affect me much. It seems that most people who are affected by the dark are also affected by the light in the summer, but I'm not that much either. Right now the days aren't that short yet, but they are getting shorter (About 5 minutes/day) all the time--I think that's worse than the actual darkness. (At shortest we get approx. 5 1/2 hours of daylight here on the southern coast) I've seen those light boxes, I think using one would make my head ache pretty fast.

"Reserved, depressed and prone to suicide" What a nice image...*LOL* Maybe those people live in Canada, which is, after all, outside the habitable earth. (According to Monty Python) Heh, "Sami" is Finnish for the name "Sam", Sami people are "saamelaiset" and the language "saame". I don't know any. There is an interesting thing, though, it's said that Sami people withdrew to north from central Finland last, and I'm from there (in God only knows how many generations) Buórre Päivve (don't know about the spelling) is "Good Day (afternoon)" in that language.

PS: In what way am I clever?
