: wow, just wanted to say thank u so much for the much needed advice. I will definitely put it to good use! 4-ness IS definitely something to be cherished, but also something to keep under control. Also, high school is definitely a hard place for me to find people to have a good, real, relationship with. Hopefully I'll get lucky :-) I do know of some guys who do seem like
: good "prospects" <----hehe I know that sounds bad. It's taken a long time for me not to always get caught up in the "jocks" and popular guys because they are so easy to approach- but in the long run could never work- and now I see people behind the woodwork who are so incredibly awesome but no one would ever know until they got to know them and I think that's what all
: us "4's" hope to find- someone who sees us for what we are, and searches us out. Maybe also because that takes the pressure off of us also. I dunno- I'm still workin on it :-)
: thanx for the incredible follow up.

Lauren,

You've got a wonderful start. I wish I knew myself that well when I was in high-school. Looking back, it seems like I was always being pushed into being a 5 or 1 or 3. All I knew was that I didn't fit in. And I never knew a thing about real relationships. It brings tears to my eyes to know that you've found your place. Don't let these good "prospects" pass you by--they really are the awesome people you're looking for.

I don't know what else to say at the moment, except that I'm still working on it too. Right now, I'm just really happy for you, and a little bittersweet for myself that I missed out on so much because I didn't realize things until much later that you already know. Your future is bright indeed.
