I tend to think that homosexuality, bisexuality, or heterosexuality can either be a person's natural inclination or learned behavior. I would guess that in the vast majority of cases the sexuality of a person is as much a part of their nature as their eye color. I don't remember ever having to make a conscious choice regarding how I felt about women. One of my co-workers is gay and he told me that he just "always knew" that he liked men. It doesn't look like either of us got to our present state through an act of will.
