Just one comment for now: please don't ever let her go. She probably needs you more than she is able to show. Even if she seems to put up walls sometimes, or even act with disdain toward you (I'm not assuming she does; that's merely my experience with this "type"). The more she learns to trust you, the more she'll feel supported by you when you're just there. I don't think that emotional support is terribly complex; I think it's just being there and being trusted.
