My current "dayjob" is with this executive recruiting firm, also kwown
as a "headhunter". It's a fairly American phenomenon produced by the
incredibly low unemployment we've had for several years, that companies
have to chase after qualified professionals, snatching them from their
competitors by finding out who they are and calling them right in their
offices--the headhunting firms are the ones who find them and recruit
them. I'm a "researcher", which means I go find out who these people
are which basically amounts to phone espionage.

It's a decent-paying, flexible, low-responsibility position which
allows me to do what I need to do: I can take off for auditions,
go away for months at a time to do theatre. I'm lucky to have it,
though I'm working toward phasing it out and earning my entire living
as an actor.

I'm really happiest when I'm acting/creating, wherever that might be.
I've learned to appreciate natural beauty in environments, though,
which makes it necessary to get away to CA or New England (where I
was doing a play this summer) periodically.

I also appreciate the natural beauty of your lovely form as prefigured
in the ancient artistry of Khahurajo.
