Yeah, I didn't know about any reason why you'd be angry with me. I wasn't in the best of moods when I read your post either, so I probably got more upset about it than I would have otherwise. Regarding my sadistic tendencies, I believe they have to do mainly with my desire for power and control. I hope that the more secure of a person I become, the less I will feel the need for control. As for your masochism, maybe you have to learn to truly believe that you deserve to be treated well. I know that this is an issue that I also need to deal with. I tend to go back and forth between feeling superior and inferior. Obviously the goal is to simply feel good about myself--neither superior nor inferior.
