: I recently took the test and came out as Type 4. It definitely : answered some of my questions as to why I can't seem to find work I enjoy. : I studied biochemistry in university (I was expected to become a doctor), : but once I was out of school, I realized that I had no interest in pursuing : a science or any medically-related career. I have since worked in retail : sales (hated it), pharmaceuticals (hated it), and financial services : (very boring). I currently work for a very corporate pension consulting : firm and every day, I feel like a little more of my spirit is dying. : At this point, I have no idea what type of career would satisfy me. The : only thing I really enjoy now are the ballet classes that I recently : started attending. : How would any of you suggest a Type 4 (raised to be otherwise) go about : discovering her passion? Elisa I can really identify with what you wrote. I'm 31 but I'm still not sure what I want to be when I "grow-up". I like to write and draw when I'm not working and this seems to help give me a sense of fulfillment. I also think that volunteer work can be helpful b/c you can get satisfaction that you might not find in a job. If you have a ballet troupe in your city, maybe you can help them behind the scenes. I don't think that I'll ever have a job I really like so I try to find fulfillment in other pursuits. Maybe this will lead me to something I will really love.
