Enneagram Type 4 Board Archive Handedness of 4'sPosted by Hal on September 08, 1998 at 14:41:26: I just finished reading a book called "The Enneagram and Kabbalah" (Kabbalah is Jewish spirituality) which related the nine enneagram points to the points of the Tree of Life from Kabbalah. One thing I found interesting is that each point of the Tree of Life (and hence the enneagram) is associated with a particular part of the body. Point 4 is associated with the heart--no big surprise to any of us, I'm sure. The interesting part is that point 5 is located in the left arm, and point 3 in the right arm. So I was wondering if this had any correlation to real people, in the sense that 4w5's are generally left handed and 4w3's are right handed. You'd think this would mean that there are far more 4w3's than 4w5's, but I'm willing to bet that a much higher percentage of 4's are left handed than the 10% average. So what is the handedness of anyone on this board, or other 4's you know? BTW, I'm a left handed 4w5, so my hypothesis is 100% accurate so far. :-) - Hal -
