Her description of the middle child, as I recall it, matched up an awful lot with 4s -- feeling left out, wanting to act different and distinguish themselves as unique from the other siblings. I wonder if many 4s are middle children, but when I think of the 4s I'm close to, one is an oldest child, one is a middle child, and one is an only child, so who knows? Just thought I'd add that to the mix.
