: To counter-effect a fear of reality, the mind automatically constructs an Irreality, which is in a sense, an ideal world for itself. When the mind ceases Observing and begins focusing on its Interepretations of its observations, it loses hold of reality, just like when one makes a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy, the 4th generation copy's quality is nowhere as sharp and precise as the original. The result of this chronic focus away from objective observation deteriorates into false worlds, which I term Irrealism.

: The following four "types" are unhealthy states of neurosis, which can correspond to the enneagram types.

: Self Good/Other Good
: This type is characterized by irrealistic delusions of happiness, peacefulness, and idealism. Their world is "perfect", and they are "perfect", and everything is just "perfect". Problems are just ignored and swept under the rug, but when problems begin increasing, it puts more of a strain on their minds to be in control and focus on the artifical happiness they created.

: Self Good/Other Bad
: This type lives by the belief that they alone know what is right. Intense feelings of narcissism, superiority, and having a one-track mind are common symptons of these types. These feelings can also be extended towards a group, in which their "family" has the right philosophy to live, or knows what is best for the world. People of this type may view themselves as heroic martyrs or crusaders.

: Self Bad/Other Good
: This type is plagued with insecurity, low self-esteem, inferiority to others, self-hatred, and even masochism. They may feel they are a burden to others and don't deserve to live. This could be characterized when a parent scolds a child for doing something wrong, and the child is hurt for having let their parent down and accepting it as their fault.

: Self Bad/Other Bad
: This type rebukes all joy or meaning in the world and in themselves. To them, everything is a seething cauldron of disgust. Extreme nihilism combined with a terrofying vision of having been locked in this world for eternity may drive some to suicide. Anything positive is readily dismissed as "illusion" by these people. Life has lost all value, so why live it?
