It seems to me that you have a really good handle on things--I'm not quite sure what help you need, if any. The idea is great! Just about the only thing I would suggest is to put your own feelings into your work--use surrealism to show everyone how you experience everyday things, what your moods are. Show what you see in your mind and heart when you look at what other people see as an ordinary scene.
One question: do you mean "alternating" or "altering"? If you like my idea about showing your experiences through this project, I might suggest "presenting" since it would be showing others things that you see as already being there.
And yes, I would buy your CD. I know some people with CD burners if we could find a way to get your work to them.
