: "but they're not at all, and can't cope usually. There is hope though"

: That does sound like satirical to me, maybe it's just my mind, attuned against every possible little quip.

: I'm glad to hear your nephew has improved, I wonder what I should do. My general characteristics: hostile attitudes against everything that can even remotely be perceived as an attack and people that aren't what expected to be. Hostility breaking out at times when drunk. Perceived weakness in being open with own feelings. Feelings of inferiority covered up with denial and occasional big talk. Callousness. Expecting too much of self and others. Resistance to change. After temporary improvement immediate fall back to previous behavior when the first setback occurs. Seeing innocent attempts of help as patronizing. Hitting objects, such as walls and doors. General negative outlook on life. Scaring people away.

: I know having a cup of tea and a biscuit doesn't help.

Ronnie, what is it that you're hostile and angry about? I'm sure everyone will freely give you a list of things to "do", but changing your actions won't ultimately help without knowing why you act and feel the way you do. I've found that it all really comes down to fear, which can come out as anger, hostility, depression, or a million other things. So the first question to ask yourself is, "what am I so afraid of?"
