Hi Cindy!

I like your sense of humor. I'm very new here so I went back and read through your previous postings. I notice that you posed questions, so I'm going to do the same thing, following your format.

Do you, have you ever, or did you:

*Run away from home as a teenager?

*Not own a television for the past 14 years?

*Never watch a football game, and not know a touchdown from a hockey puck?

*Admit that the last movie you saw, and the last time you went to a theater, was "Star Wars"?

If the answer to any or all of these questions is "Yes," then you are as alienated from popular culture as I am.

I recently got a jury summons. I called and got it postponed for six months. I have never served on a jury and I never will. I'm not a Christian, but this is predominately a Christian country, and I would like to pose the question, how can a Christian serve on a jury?

The notice I received began with the words "Dear Citizen." This is the same entity which will demand that I take up a gun and kill some young man from Iran or Iraq. I refuse to do that, and I refuse to judge my fellow human being.

In my view, it's the judge and the lawyers who should go to prison and the accused should go free.
